Connect & SUPPORT

Values mean something to those who choose to serve and protect others.  We know our Freedom is God given, but  as a society we agree to live under the law.  Those who are on the front line need additional support as they seek to uphold these laws and maintain our hard fought values that make us distinctly American.  

Daily time with Jesus is essential for strengthening my faith.  Being intentional each day to be obedient to his call creates opportunities to serve and is a way to connect with the divine and prepare for anything that may happen within a given day on the job supporting our first responders.  Most of the people I come in contact with are not believers, but in a crisis many seek a higher power, and look to me for guidance and prayer. 

My legacy is within my immediate family as well as within the family of law enforcement officers and their families.  Spending time with them each day on routine work as well as supporting them through a crisis situation and the ensuing aftermath.  These professionals carry a massive weight of responsibility and I feel responsible for them.  A chaplain's job can start before an officer ever is assigned their first call and last through a career into retirement.
